Global warming and climate change refer to an increase in average global temperatures. Natural events and human activities are believed to be contributing to an increase in average global temperatures. This is caused primarily by increases in “greenhouse” gases such as Carbon Dioxide. The term greenhouse is used in conjunction with the phenomenon known as the greenhouse effect. Energy from the sun drives the earth’s weather and climate, and heats the earth’s surface; In turn, the earth radiates energy back into space; Some atmospheric gases (water vapor, carbon dioxide, and other gases) trap some of the outgoing energy, retaining heat somewhat like the glass panels of a greenhouse;
These gases are therefore known as greenhouse gases;
The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature on Earth as certain gases in the atmosphere trap energy. What does it make you think when you hear about this stuff. Give your opinion!

I think global warming is bad and we need to resolve the issues by stopping pollution.
ReplyDeleteI just read in TIME magazine i think that we are finally getting renewable resources that can overtake the oil/gas/coal energy sources. If we implement these new sources such as Wind/Solar/Wave/Fusion as a country then we can break our hold over those terrible polluting sources. If every country steps in and uses these then pollution could all around drop drastically.
ReplyDeleteI agree and think that global warming is a very serious issue in our world today. Unless we all do things to change our lifestyles such as recycling and stop using so much gas and putting bad chemicals in our air, our world will not be here as long as expected :
ReplyDeleteI think people are getting out of control. It is terrible to see people so greedy and everything that they destroy their own planet they live on. People are taking this serious enough, i think that it should be a top 5 concern in the world and if not top 2. Maybe people would understand once something happens from it other than killing animals. Because obviously people only care about themselves.
ReplyDeleteI think that people need to start listening to ads and helping out our planet. Global warming is very serious and needs to be taking serious. We need to start reducing what we put in the air.
